Use Range:
1.Y-type filters are used in pipelines of two inches and below, (3-inch flushing oil pipelines may also be used), and T-type filters are basically used in pipelines larger than two inches.
2.The filtering effect of the Y-type filter is better, but a certain space is required to extract the filter screen. The filtering effect of the T-type filter is relatively poor, but the space required for extracting the filter screen is small.
3.Generally, Y type is used for DN less than or equal to 50, and T type is used for DN greater than or equal to 80.

1.The Y-type filter is usually installed at the inlet end of the valve or other equipment to protect the normal use of the following equipment.
2.The angle T-type filter must be installed at the 90° bend of the pipeline.
3.The straight-through T-type filter must be installed on the straight pipe of the pipeline. When it is installed on the riser, it should be considered to facilitate the extraction of the filter screen; when it is installed in the horizontal pipe, the extraction direction of the filter screen should be downward.
