How to Deal With The Valve Is Not Closed Tightly

During the use of the valve, there are often some troubling problems, such as the valve is not closed tightly, and the valve is not closed tightly, what should I do?
In general, if it is not closed tightly, first check to see if the valve is closed in place. If there is still leakage and cannot be sealed after it has been closed in place, then check the sealing surface. The sealing pair of some valves can be If it is disassembled, then take it out for grinding and test again. Of course, if it is still not closed tightly, it must be returned to the factory for overhaul or replacement of the valve, so as not to affect the normal use of the valve and the occurrence of accidents in working conditions.
If the valve is not tightly closed, you should first find out where the problem is, and then solve it according to the corresponding method. There are several reasons why the valve is not closed tightly:
(1) There are impurities stuck on the sealing surface, and the impurities are deposited at the bottom of the valve or cushioned between the valve disc and the valve seat;
(2) The thread of the valve stem is rusted, and the valve cannot be rotated;
(3) The sealing surface of the valve is damaged, resulting in leakage of the medium;
(4) The connection between the valve stem and the valve disc is not good, so that the valve disc and the valve seat cannot be in close contact with the deflection.

Solution
1. There are impurities stuck on the sealing surface of the valve.
Sometimes the valve is suddenly not closed tightly. It may be that impurities are stuck between the sealing surfaces of the valve. At this time, it should not be forced to close. The valve should be opened slightly, and then try to close again. For inspection, the quality of the medium should be kept clean.

2. Stem thread raw embroidery
For a valve that is usually open, when it is accidentally closed, because the valve stem thread has rusted, it will also not close tightly. In this case, the valve can be switched on and off several times, and at the same time, tap the bottom of the valve body with a small hammer to close the valve tightly without grinding and repairing the valve.

3. The valve sealing surface is damaged
For the case where the switch is still not tightly closed after several attempts, that is, the sealing surface is damaged and should be reported for repair; or if the sealing surface is damaged by corrosion, particle scratches in the medium, etc., it should also be reported for repair.

4. The connection between the valve stem and the valve disc is not good
Always add lubricating oil to the stem and stem nut to ensure flexible opening and closing of the valve. Have a formal maintenance program.
